The objectives of technology at Riordan are simple: support enhanced learning opportunities for students and produce good digital citizens equipped to navigate the rapidly and constantly growing technological landscape. It is critical that students leave Riordan not only with an understanding of technical elements, but also how technology can positively and negatively impact the world around us.

In the fall of 2012, Archbishop Riordan High School launched a 1:1 iPad program. The iPad offers a platform for educational apps and interactive resources for students and faculty to expand their learning environment, and also connects to all of Riordan’s current online technology, including PowerSchool, Google Apps for Education, Naviance, library databases, and many others.

Visit this page for more information about Riordan’s iPad program, including what textbooks and apps students and faculty are using in their courses.

The Technology Department oversees all electronic and technologically driven devices, servers, software applications and educational technology based services throughout Archbishop Riordan High School.
