Schoology for Parents
Schoology Schoology is an important learning management system used here at Riordan. Teachers use Schoology to communicate with students and to post assignments. Students use Schoology to review assignments due, to find important class information, and to communicate with their teachers and other students. Schoology is also a valuable tool for parents and guardians that gives you access to view and keep track of your son’s courses and assignments, as well as allowing you to communicate with other parents and guardians. We are encouraging all parents to sign up for a Schoology account. You will receive a Parent Access code at Back to School Night from your son’s instructors.
We request that all families volunteer 20 hours per year. Volunteering is a great way to help the school and get involved. We understand that the ability to volunteer will vary with each family, and we simply ask that each family do whatever they can to support school activities. We ask parents to self-report volunteer hours via our portal which can be found here. Volunteer opportunities are sent out through your Class Representatives or in the weekly Parent Newsletter. At any time you can contact Karin Haskell at email@example.com if you have any questions.
