Support Riordan – Invest in the Future of Our Crusaders

At Archbishop Riordan High School, giving is more than a donation—it’s an act of faith in the potential of young men and women shaped by the Marianist values of faith, service, family spirit, and inclusivity.

Your support helps us provide a transformative Catholic education rooted in academic excellence, personal growth, and leadership development. Every gift—large or small—directly impacts the student experience, ensuring access to meaningful programs in the arts, academics, athletics, sciences, and campus ministry.

Whether you are an alumnus paying it forward, a parent contributing to your child’s journey, or a friend who believes in our mission, we invite you to partner with us. Together, we can continue to build a strong foundation for today’s Crusaders and tomorrow’s leaders.

Join us in making a difference. Because at Riordan, giving is part of what makes us a family.

Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)

DAFs have become an increasingly important planned giving tool for donors making annual and significant contributions. Most investment firms have a DAF program where investors can make a gift, plan for taxes, invest the funds and designate their gift at a later date. Riordan receives many DAF gifts each year and we would be glad to work with you and your advisor.

Note: DAFs cannot be used to fulfill written pledges or for the cost of attending an event.

Pledges

Empowering Crusaders Through Sustained Support

You may make a commitment to Riordan payable over three to five years. This may allow you to give more generously over a period of time than would be possible through a single contribution.

Please contact Anne Seppi, Director of Annual Giving, at (415) 586-8200 ext. 217 or aseppi@riordanhs.org to learn more about making a pledge.

Planned Giving, The Fennelly Society

Bequests, Living Trusts, Beneficiary Designations, IRA Charitable Rollovers (QCDs)

Riordan will work with you to maximize your charitable giving in your estate plans or other financial vehicles. Visit our planned giving page, or contact Anne Seppi at aseppi@riordanhs.org or (415) 586-8200 ext. 217

Many of our most loyal alumni and supporters have chosen to leave a legacy impacting future generations of students by remembering Riordan in their estate plans. Anyone who has supported Riordan in this way is invited to join the Fennelly Society, a group established to honor and thank these generous supporters.

What to Support

The Riordan Fund

The Riordan Fund is one of the financial cornerstones to Riordan’s continuing growth and excellence.

Your gift to The Riordan Fund ensures that every Riordan student has an opportunity to fully embrace the Crusader experience and is provided a quality education by preserving and strengthening the breadth of academic and co-curricular programs. Simply put, The Riordan Fund helps us deliver on our promise to challenge and nurture our diverse students during their high school years.

GIVE NOW

Parent Giving Program

All families are asked to maintain the tradition of supporting Riordan through a monthly or annual, tax-deductible gift to the Parent Giving Program for each enrolled student. Contributions to this program help enhance the student experience by improving campus facilities, growing our financial aid resources, and advancing academic programs—all while helping to minimize tuition increases. For questions contact Director of Annual Giving, Anne Seppi, at aseppi@riordanhs.org.

Special Events

Archbishop Riordan High School hosts several events during the school year to raise funds for financial aid and other school programs. This includes the Fall Golf Tournament and the Spring Gala. Underwriting by individuals or businesses greatly assists the school with the expenses of producing these wonderful fundraising events. If you are interested in sponsoring an event, please contact Christina Durkan, Director of Special Events, at cdurkan@riordanhs.org.

Named Scholarships

The gift of a scholarship is truly a symbol of stewardship by providing an education for the next generation of Crusaders. Endowed scholarships will grow in perpetuity.

Scholarships and endowed scholarships may be designated to a specific program and named for an honoree. Some of these gifts evolved from the passing of an alumnus or other loved ones, as a legacy and promise to future generations that Riordan will remain prepared to love, guide and instruct students in the Marianist traditions.

Named funds are established with a minimum investment of $25,000 and provide a lasting symbol of the bond between Archbishop Riordan High School and those who are permanently honored. Riordan is proud to uphold the legacy of these individuals and families.

Please contact Anne Seppi at aseppi@riordanhs.org to honor your loved ones with a named or endowed fund that will benefit future generations of Crusaders.
