Class of 2020

We invite all Riordan families to tune in to a broadcast of the Senior Farewell. This special event connects our seniors with their fellow classmates, and formally welcomes them into the alumni community. It will feature:

• Welcome Prayer
• Senior Slideshow
• Salutatorian Address by Adam Kolokotrones
• Distribution of Perpetual Awards
• And other special surprises!

We have tentatively scheduled our Baccalaureate Mass, the most significant spiritual opportunity for the Class during their time at Riordan, for Friday evening, June 12. Fr. Cameron Faller, who previously served as Riordan's Chaplain and will be rejoining our community next school year, will serve as celebrant. We chose this date so we can continue to connect with seniors after academic classes have concluded.

This Mass will be pre-recorded and broadcast from Riordan's Chapel, and will include a special address by Aidan Murtagh.

It is essential that seniors report their plans for next year via SCOIR so we send your final transcript. This is required by June 1. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Melissa Nagar, mnagar@riordanhs.org.

What do I have to do to request that my final transcript is sent to my attending college?

1. Set enrolling college on SCOIR by June 1st: Between June 8 - 12th, Mrs. Birmingham will send your final transcript to the college that you listed as enrolling on SCOIR.

• Any changes to your SCOIR after June 1st should be communicated directly to Mrs. Birmingham (nbirmingham@riordanhs.org).
• If there are no issues with your grades and you do not change your enrolling college, no additional steps are required to have your final Riordan transcript sent.
• Attending a community college: If you indicate that you are attending a community college, Mrs. Birmingham will email you a copy of your final transcript to use for assessment/advising. 
• As a courtesy, Mrs. Birmingham will send an email to the entire class that transcripts were mailed/electronically submitted. 
• Please give your college 2-3 weeks to process the transcripts. If there are any issues, please contact Mrs. Birmingham.

2. Changes to your attending college? It's important that you contact Mrs. Birmingham that you've decided to enroll in another college so that she can send your final transcript. It's also important that you let the other college know that you're no longer planning to attend.

3. Did you report AP Scores, attend another high school, or report non-Riordan courses (ex. summer programs, college courses)? Colleges like CSUs and UCs will want an official copy of these grades and they must come directly from the school you attended. It's important that you double check and also contact the school for an official copy to be submitted. CSUs and UCs will not accept our copy of the grades.
