Lung Cancer Awareness Money War

Reasons to donate:
Your donations will go directly to lung cancer prevention efforts in our local community. Through the Katz Cancer Center at the Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, life-saving lung cancer screenings are provided for free to those in need! When a patient’s insurance will not cover a lung cancer screening, the hospital covers the cost from their own foundation. Your contribution will save lives. Show up and show out to help out the Lung Cancer Awareness Drive and to promote awareness!
Incentives:
There are donuts and crusader call points at stake here, Crusaders! The top donating R-Time wins donuts and bragging rights, and whichever House wins this House competition receives the full competition points. Crusader call points can be spent on a wide selection of cool Riordan merch, like shirts, water bottles, and stickers, all for free!
Why it matters:
The Lung cancer awareness drive truly exemplifies the Marianist characteristic of educating for service, justice, peace, and the integrity of creation. This will give a chance for the people at the Dominican Hospital to detect early signs of lung cancer, which saves hundreds of lives! As a Marianist school, we are all given the chance to serve our community through different opportunities, and this drive kicks-off our CORE Team season. With your help, we can answer the cry of the poor, and mitigate the risks of long-term chronic illnesses for those affected by lung cancer.
