Record Golf Tournament

October 12 was a record day for fundraising and attendance at the 2018 Golf Tournament. The sell-out crowd of 144 alumni and friends of Riordan enjoyed a great day of golf that netted $37,000 raised for Riordan’s Athletic facilities.

Alumni and friends of the Riordan community are invited to the 2018 Downtown Luncheon on Friday, November 16. The special guest speaker this year is Mr. Carmen Policy.

The Cyril Magnum Ballroom is on the 4th floor. Registration/check-in, cocktails and the lunch will all be on the 4th floor. Please note that the bar is cash only. There is an ATM in the hotel and across the street, but the bar does not accept credit cards.

About Carmen Policy
Carmen Policy is a well-respected lawyer and professional sports executive who served as counsel, president and CEO of the San Francisco 49ers during their era of dominance in the 1980s and early ‘90s. One of the architects of five Super Bowl winning teams, Policy was named National Football League Executive of the Year in 1994 by The Sporting News and Pro Football Weekly and was declared one of the “Most Influential People in Professional Sports” by numerous publications. After leaving the 49ers, Carmen served as President, CEO and part owner of the Cleveland Browns expansion franchise for five years before returning to Northern California in 2004. Carmen and his wife Gail now own and operate Casa Piena Winery in Napa Valley.
