The lessons learned on the fields and courts will impact our students for a lifetime.
It has been the long-standing tradition and philosophy of the Archbishop Riordan Athletic Department that participation in athletics is an integral part of the education process. Our program stresses sportsmanship, self-discipline, teamwork, commitment, and self confidence, as well as dealing with success and overcoming adversity. These lessons enrich a student’s academic life while providing a foundation of character and integrity.
Archbishop Riordan High School is a member of the West Catholic Athletic League (WCAL), one of the most competitive leagues in the United States. Many of our student-athletes have gone on to play Division I athletics.

Meet Our Head Coaches
Our athletes' success—on and off the courts, mats, and field—is a byproduct of the tireless work of our teams and coaches, along with immense support of families, faculty and staff. Riordan coaches are first and foremost role models for our young men. Secondly, they inspire a life-long love of the game and healthy competition.
