For 8th Graders
Our Crusader for a Day visits run September through December. Prospective 8th graders can spend a day on campus. from 8:00 am – 12:30 pm. The visits include lunch.
Parents of 8th graders are invited for an insider’s look at Riordan while school is in session. The tour runs from 8:00 – 10:30 am and concludes with a chance to meet school leadership.
On Sunday, October 27 from 1:00 - 3:30 pm, you are invited to visit campus and meet current students, faculty, parents and coaches! This event is recommended for families and students in grades 5–8.
Getting to Riordan
Archbishop Riordan High School is located in San Francisco’s Ingleside neighborhood, directly across the street from City College. The school is close to several major transportation lines, the highway 280/101 interchange, and just 20 minutes from San Francisco International Airport.

The 43 bus stops right outside of Riordan’s campus and connects to the north side of San Francisco (including the Inner Sunset, Haight/Panhandle, Pacific Heights, and the Marina District). Another popular route, the 29 bus stops along Ocean Avenue, only an 8-minute walk away.

For the past 70 years, Riordan has found a home in the bustling Ingleside neighborhood that borders Monterey Heights, St. Francis Wood, and Glen Park. Nearby Ocean Avenue boasts a selection of restaurants, supermarkets (Whole Foods Market and Safeway), and shops. Many Riordan students also take classes at San Francisco’s City College, located directly across the street from Riordan’s campus.
