Frank Jordan, Class of '74, who recently retired in December 2022 after 42 years with New York Life Insurance, is now jumping into his personal passion as a self-described history buff.

For Riordan Boys Basketball Head Coach Joey Curtin, Class of 2001, winning is just the tip of success. With all the highlights of the season, Curtin consistently teaches his players that it’s during the losses they learn the most.

For Anthony Quimbo, Class of 2009, his desire to join the San Francisco Police Department can be traced to his high school days at Riordan. Quimbo has served on the force for four years now, and said he’s “experienced everything that you could possibly think of.” But his favorite moments from the job come from serving the community.

Over the past seven years. Riordan has been transformed in fundamental ways. Since becoming a coed school in August of 2020, Riordan has reinvigorated every part of our school facility, from rebuilding our athletic facilities and classrooms to remodeling our bathrooms and hallways.

As we head into the 2023-24 school year with a new Strategic Plan, Riordan is anticipating a student enrollment of 1,150 students, an all-time high.

On May 20, 2023, our 212 graduates received their diplomas during the Graduation Ceremony on Mayer Family Field - the third-straight year of this new tradition.

Our graduates will be attending some of the top universities in the nation, with 42% of the class being First-Generation-to-College. New and notable college acceptances include: Boston University, UC Berkeley, UCLA, University of Chicago, Clemson University, Columbia University, Davidson University, Northeastern University, New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, University of Notre Dame, Parsons School of Design (The New School), University of Southern California, Vassar College

Thanks to the focused efforts of several alumni faculty and staff and others, Riordan experienced an infusion and revitalization of Crusader Spirit throughout the school and during our athletic games. Crusaders are having huge successes in athletics, the arts, clubs, and the classrooms.
