Archbishop Riordan High School junior Zachary Quanico met with Mayor Ed Lee before speaking at the re-opening of the Glen Park Recreation Center today. Zach represented some 7,000 San Francisco teens who are working for the City under the mayor’s youth job program.

Zach, who works at the Minnie and Lovie Ward Recreation Center, was surrounded by children eager to begin the first day of rock climbing camp. He said, “It’s great to be role model and a leader to all these wonderful kids.”

Superintendent of Neighborhood Services Bob Palacio ’87 also was acknowledged for his support of the re-opening of the center.
