Welcome to Archbishop Riordan High School!

When you ask a Riordan student or alumnus about his high school experience, invariably he will first mention an individual or group of people that had a profound impact on his life. It may be a teacher, classmate, team, or club. The Riordan community is what makes Archbishop Riordan a great high school. From the moment a young man steps onto our campus, he becomes a member of our family. At Archbishop Riordan, we provide a rigorous academic program in a supportive family atmosphere. We welcome young men from diverse backgrounds - each with their own unique abilities and personal gifts - and we hold our students to high standards. Our college preparatory curriculum promotes knowledge, skills, and values that develop our students’ leadership abilities and capacity to learn. Our teachers work with and encourage our students to succeed. Archbishop Riordan’s college preparatory curriculum includes an outstanding Advanced Placement program. Music and drama are integrated into our curriculum, as we believe that fine arts are integral to the development of young men.

At Archbishop Riordan High School, we build and nurture our students’ self-confidence. Our students learn from each other by sharing their cultural identities, by competing as teammates, and by pushing each other to succeed. These boys mature into responsible adults together. Archbishop Riordan has a tradition of teaching only boys for 60 years. Our faculty, do not take their students’ gender for granted. In fact, our faculty and administration factor in the all-boys environment when developing the excellent curriculum and programs that are best for young men.

Riordan is renown for its visual and performing arts program, its competitive athletic program and its co-curricular activities. Campus Ministry and Community Service programs allow students to grow in their relationships with their families, their friends, and their God.
