Assistant Principal, Academics

Looking for a visionary, energetic, and organized educator to direct and manage a rigorous and diversified academic program and to guide a professional and hard-working faculty in a Catholic, all-boys high school in San Francisco.

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least a preliminary administrative services credential (or have made substantial progress in a leadership program) or M.A. in educational leadership.
  • Must have experience in working with a diverse socio-economic student body.
  • Must have at least five years of full-time teaching experience and a current California Teaching Credential.
  • Must have knowledge of current trends in curriculum design, assessment, and best practices in instruction.

This is a 220-day contract position and the candidate must be available to begin work July 1. Salary is commensurate with experience and education and position has full benefits.

Archbishop Riordan High School in San Francisco is seeking an organized, high energy and efficient person who will thrive in a busy, friendly and fast paced school environment. Our school is an all-boys’ Catholic preparatory high school in the Marianist tradition that promotes student growth in intellectual, spiritual, social, and physical aspects of life.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate with both adults and high school aged students;
  • Proficient with PC work, especially Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Ability to multitask and have superb organizational skills;
  • Capability to coordinate and run special events;
  • Spanish fluency preferred but not required.
