The ARHS Jazz Band is another part of Riordan's outstanding music program and is also led by director Scott Souza. The jazz band is made up of a core group of skilled musicians who play a variety of jazz pieces at many events and competitions throughout the year.

The Jazz Band also has a smaller Jazz Combo run by Alto Saxaphonist, Samson Fong. The jazz band holds two coffee houses in Chaminade Hall at Riordan, one in the fall and one in the spring. The jazz coffee houses were started to create a real jazz coffee house environment with refreshments, great seating, and a swingin' live jazz band! Jazz Coffee Houses are open to everyone! So check the date, bring your friends and family, and enjoy some smooth jazz!!!
