SUPPORT HOURS--Site must have a "not for profit" status.
Support hours must be done for a non-profit. They may not be done in a family business or your home.
Many agencies such as the American Cancer Society, American Heart, Association and AIDS Foundation hold
runs, walks or special events and need large numbers of volunteers. Volunteering for these types of events
are SUPPORT HOURS.
Students will not receive hours for volunteering on campus unless pre-approved by Mr. Datoc or Mrs. Guevel.
The project ideas below are to guide you. If you are not sure that your project qualifies for Support Hours,
please check with Mrs. Guevel or Mr. Datoc to get approval and/or help on where to volunteer.

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister has nothing to wear and has no food for the day, and one of you says to them,
"Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well," but you do not give them the necessities of the body, what good is it? So also faith of itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
- James 2:14-17
